Christmas at the Glade provides opportunities for the Glade Church family to step up and meet specific needs locally, nationally, and internationally. Each opportunity provides an avenue for you to serve with compassion and offer real hope.

Military and First Responders Ministry

We have several families at the Glade Churchwho have loved ones serving in the military and as first responders in our community. The Military and First Responders ministry facillitates the sending of care packages to soldiers all around the world, they provide gifts and thank you notes to first responders in our community, and they intentionally care for veterans. On November 3rd and 10th, you will have an opportunity in the foyer to come alongside the Military and First Responders ministry by purchasing care packages, gift cards, and other items for soldiers and first responders to enjoy this holiday season. The Gifting Tree and Relief Kits

On December 8, you will have an opportunity to serve locally and internationally.

Local Opportunity - Gifting Tree

There are hundreds of families in our community who do not have the funds to provide Christmas for their children. We have come alongside Gladeville Elementary School and Gladeville Middle School to provide Christmas for as many of these families as possible. Stop by the gifting tree on December 8th to retrieve a child from the gifting tree. You will have two weeks to purchase the gifts and return them wrapped to the Glade Church by December 22nd.

International Opportunity - Relief Kits

Over the past several years we have worked closely with Baptist Global Response(BGR) on the ground around the world. Through our partnership and work on the ground we have seen the need for simple hygiene items amidst hundreds of thousands of displaced families. We will be partnering with BGR to pack relief kits that will be shipped all around the world to families in need. On December 8th you can pick up your box and packing instructions at the Glade Church then return the to the Glade Church on December 22nd.

Unleashed Celebration

On Sunday, December 15, we will give an update on our Unleashed Campaign and celebrate what God has done through your generosity over the last 2 years. 2020 is the 3rd and final year of Unleashed.

End of year schedule

On December 24, we will have a Christmas Eve service at The Glade Church at 4 PM. Bring your family. Invite your friends.

On December 29, we will have one service at 10 AM. No additional programming. This will be a great morning for our families to gather together and celebrate the Lord.
