Preteen Leadership Workshop #2
Workshop Details:
Students will meet from 10:30-2:00 PM. Your child needs to complete their reading assignment in their Forge Curriculum Workbook before arriving to the leadership workshop.
Overview:
Preteen Leadership is targeting 4th-5th graders who are eager to develop leadership skills. We will meet once a month on Sundays to study what the Bible says about Godly leadership and how to apply it in their current context. Students will be trained on how to lead specific parts of Kids Ministry Programming.
Participants will be expected to complete a reading assigment or a personality assessment before each meeting. Students will be assigned various serving roles on a Sunday to apply their knowledge. This program is a time commitment. Your child is expected to come prepared to the workshops and to follow through with their serving assignment.
The Leadership Program is designed to
- Explore leadership characteristics from the Bible
- Equip students to serve in various roles in Kids Ministry
- Encourage students to discover their Spiritual Gifts
- Empower students to assist with upcoming events in Kids Ministry
