Pray Persistently

Breakthrough begins on our knees. Pray that God would remove barriers in our hearts, increase our faith, clarify our obedience, and multiply gospel impact through The Glade.

Engage Fully

Be present, lean in, and stay connected throughout this season. Attend each week of the 4-Week Breakthrough Sermon Series, participate in your group discussions, engage with the weekly devotional content, and join a Vision Night gathering. This isn't about information... it's about transformation.

Make a Commitment

Celebrate Loudly

We believe God is going to do more than raise funds, He is going to raise faith. As He works in you during this season, share with those around you how He is moving. Breakthrough is about His glory.

Give Generously

Ask God to show you what obedience looks like over the next two years, and take whatever bold steps of faith are required to see it through. Every gift given to the Breakthrough Funding Initiative from April 2026 to April 2028 goes toward one unified mission: removing barriers so people can meet Jesus.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Funding Initiative is a church-wide effort to fund specific ministry needs to address traffic, space, and campus limitations so people can more easily engage at The Glade.

We need to improve our facility because our current campus is limiting our ability to serve the people God is bringing to us. Traffic flow, parking, first impressions, and crowded ministry spaces are creating real obstacles for guests, families, and students. Improving the facility removes those barriers so ministry can happen more effectively and more people can be reached and discipled.

Vision meetings give you a clear understanding of the plans and the heart behind them. You'll hear what's being proposed, why it matters, and how it supports our mission, and you'll have space to ask questions and engage in open conversation about the project and stewardship.

No. We do NOT plan to reduce our investment in ministry or missions. We are asking our church family NOT to redirect their regular giving away from ongoing ministry to support BREAKTHROUGH, but to prayerfully consider giving above and beyond their normal generosity.

Our intention is to complete this project on a cash basis, allowing construction to move at the pace of giving. However, to secure the neighboring property at the right time, we may use a short-term loan for the purchase, with the goal of paying it off quickly as funds are received.

Construction will move forward in phases, at the pace of giving. We intend on some projects beginning spring of 2027, with additional phases continuing into next year. Our goal is to complete the full scope of the work around the end of the two-year giving period.

There is no set amount. Each person's giving is a matter of prayerful discernment before the Lord. We encourage everyone to seek God's direction about what He would have them give through BREAKTHROUGH, above and beyond their regular giving. For most, that will involve both sacrifice and faith as an act of worship and trust.

Yes! Your BREAKTHROUGH commitment will be handled with confidentiality as is all giving at The Glade Church. Individual commitments will not be made public. However, the congregational total pledges will be announced.

Giving can be spread out over a 24 month period. You can give weekly, monthly, annually, or one-time gifts. You can give as a part of Sunday morning offerings or online.

On May 3 the offering will allow individuals to make an initial investment toward their commitment. In addition to following a Biblical precedence of first fruit offerings, this will allow an infusion of capital for the purchase of the property and construction project.

On May 3 everyone will be asked to fill out a commitment card. The purpose of the card is to provide the church with an approximation of the congregation's intended giving. This will allow us to appropriately plan for the future. The commitment total will be announced mid May.

BREAKTHROUGH is for our whole church family, but it is especially aimed at the future. While current members will benefit from improved facilities, this initiative is primarily about our children, our students, and the generations God will bring to The Glade in the years ahead. Our goal is to build with a long-term vision so that ministry can thrive for decades to come and barriers to engagement are removed for those who have not yet walked through our doors.

"Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us — to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
