We serve families with children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Our team of staff and volunteers provide a fun, safe environment for your child to make friends and learn about God.

FIRST TIME GUESTS

We are so excited to have you join us, and we want the process to be as easy as possible. When you arrive at our church, park in the guest spaces in the big parking lot and enter under the covered drive-thru with glass doors. There will be greeters there to welcome you in the foyer at the "New Here" desk.  We'll escort you to the kids check-in station.

You can save time by clicking the link below and pre-registering your children.

MEET ERICA TUCKER

Erica Tucker is the Children's Director at The Glade Church.  Erica joined our team in April 2024.  She joined us with a decade of kids ministry experience and she clearly has a passion for helping kids know Jesus and begin a relationship with Him.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

We host Children's Programming at both the 9:15 am and 10:45 am services.

In every session, our leaders call names and build relationships with kids.  We open the Bible and read from God's Word because nothing shapes our hearts and minds like the truth of scripture.  Each session includes a time of prayer -- sometimes all together, sometimes kid-led, sometimes modeled by a teacher.

9:15am: The Gospel Project

The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study that takes our children on a three year journey through the storyline of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation to see how Christ connects with all of Scripture. Along the way, they will discover the big picture of what God has been doing throughout redemptive history, and what it means for them.

10:45am: Children's Worship

We start in the grade-level classroom, but when we get to the children's worship service, it is a special time for kids to sing, hear from God's Word and learn a memory verse (with hand motions!).  After our time in the worship room, everybody heads back to their classroom to discuss the lesson, apply God's Word to life as an elementary child, and do an activity, game, or craft.

WEDNESDAY EVENINGS

Wednesday night programming will start back January 15th.

On January 15th children will gather on Wednesday nights from 6 PM to 7:15 PM for an evening of singing, learning about Jesus in small groups, and making friends. We hope to have your child join us for these evenings while parents are on-campus for their groups.

Watch for details coming soon.

QUESTIONS FROM KIDS

We are here to support you when answering your child's questions about Jesus, salvation, baptism, and sin. Here are tools we use in Glade Kids ministry when talking about salvation, picking a Bible, or talking about Baptism.

Kids Camp 2025

CENTRIKID - June 23-27, 2025

Summer camp is a unique opportunity for kids to get away from their normal schedule, make new friends, and hear the good news of Christ in an age appropriate way from camp staffers who are not their peers, but not as old as their parents. 😀  The fun of the bus trip, the hype of recreation, and the awesome/messy/crazy game called OMC are all tools to help make the gospel clear in the lives of our kids.

If a parent or child has any hesitancy about summer camp, please jot a note to Mrs Erica and she can hop on a call with you to talk through it all.  Camp is THE BEST week of the summer.

ADULTS FROM THE GLADE CHURCH

These are the men and women who are serving as "chaperones" for the week.  We're blessed to have leaders who serve at The Glade Church who care about investing in kids through this unique experience. These leaders are with kids from breakfast to bedtime. They will be hanging out with kids during the day and making sure they navigate campus, get to their activies, and have a safe time.  We take safety seriously -- and camp is a safe place physically, spiritually, and emotionally.  Kids can talk to these leaders about their jump shot, their nervousness about school, and their questions about Jesus!
