We serve families with children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Our team of staff and volunteers provide a fun, safe environment for your child to make friends and learn about God.
FIRST TIME GUESTS
We are so excited to have you join us, and we want the process to be as easy as possible. When you arrive at our church, park in the guest spaces in the big parking lot and enter under the covered drive-thru with glass doors. There will be greeters there to welcome you in the foyer at the "New Here" desk. We'll escort you to the kids check-in station.
You can save time by clicking the link below and pre-registering your children.
Erica Tucker is the Children's Director at The Glade Church. Erica joined our team in April 2024. She joined us with a decade of kids ministry experience and she clearly has a passion for helping kids know Jesus and begin a relationship with Him.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
We host Children's Programming at both the 9:15 am and 10:45 am services.
In every session, our leaders call names and build relationships with kids. We open the Bible and read from God's Word because nothing shapes our hearts and minds like the truth of scripture. Each session includes a time of prayer -- sometimes all together, sometimes kid-led, sometimes modeled by a teacher.
9:15am: The Gospel Project
The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study that takes our children on a three year journey through the storyline of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation to see how Christ connects with all of Scripture. Along the way, they will discover the big picture of what God has been doing throughout redemptive history, and what it means for them.
10:45am: Children's Worship
We start in the grade-level classroom, but when we get to the children's worship service, it is a special time for kids to sing, hear from God's Word and learn a memory verse (with hand motions!). After our time in the worship room, everybody heads back to their classroom to discuss the lesson, apply God's Word to life as an elementary child, and do an activity, game, or craft.
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS
Wednesday night programming for children runs through November 5th. Then the whole church gathers for Friendsgiving on November 12th. (Note: we will not meet October 8 because of Fall Break)
We gather on Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM for an evening of singing, learning about Jesus in small groups, and making friends. We hope to have your child join us for these evenings while parents are on-campus for their groups.
QUESTIONS FROM KIDS
We are here to support you when answering your child's questions about Jesus, salvation, baptism, and sin. Here are tools we use in Glade Kids ministry when talking about salvation, picking a Bible, or talking about Baptism.
On Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and special events, our photo team captures moments across our ministries to share what God is doing in the life of our church. We know every family has different comfort levels with their child's photo being published, and we want to honor that.
If you'd like to opt your child out of having their photos published on our social media, website, print materials, or videos, please fill out the form below.
Wednesday nights are for going deeper. Whether you're just starting to explore your faith or you've been walking with Jesus for years, there's a place for you here.
Adults can choose from a variety of courses designed to spark meaningful conversations and dig into Scripture together. Students gather for worship and community in a space made just for them. And preschool and kids? They've got their own worship and learning experience too.
Whatever your age or stage, there's something for everyone on Wednesday nights. Come as you are and leave more rooted in the Word and connected to your people.
