CarePortal Breakfast
Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus through CarePortal
As a church, we have an incredible opportunity to be part of CarePortal—a powerful, Christ-centered network that connects local churches with real needs in our community.
Here’s how it works: local organizations like the Pregnancy Care Center, DHS, and The Bridge House identify needs among the families they serve—things like a crib for a new baby, groceries for a struggling family, or help with transportation. Those needs are then submitted to CarePortal, which immediately shares them with nearby churches like ours.
When a need is posted, we get to respond—by providing funds, donating items, or even personally delivering what’s needed and connecting with the individual or family. Our church does both: we give, and we go. Every response is a chance to meet a tangible need and share the love and hope of Christ in a deeply personal way.
We already have some amazing people involved in CarePortal, but there’s still room for more hearts and hands to join this ministry. We will be hosting an informational breakfast on Tuesday, January 13th at 8:30 in the high school (SLC) building.
Let’s continue to be a church that shows the love of Jesus to our neighbors in practical, powerful ways.
