Parenting a child with special needs is one of the most beautiful and demanding callings there is. Side-by-Side is a space created just for parents and caregivers who get it, because they're living it.

For the Kids:
While parents connect, kids will have full run of the indoor play area at We Rock the Spectrum...swings, zip line, slide, jump zone, and more. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to care for them so you can actually exhale.

For You: 
Together, we'll talk honestly about refueling the caregiver, holding onto hope through the hard seasons, and helping the people around you better understand your child and your world, including how to navigate those conversations with extended family who mean well but don't quite get it. You're welcome to share as much or as little as you'd like. No pressure, no performance, just people walking a similar road.

Schedule: 
5:30 PM — Optional pizza dinner
6:00–8:00 PM — Side-by-Side

There is no cost to attend, but please register and complete the waiver in advance so we can plan appropriately for your family.

Whether you show up feeling tired, hopeful, overwhelmed, or all three at once, you belong here. You are not alone, and you don't have to walk this journey by yourself.
